Featuring live music by gina Breedlove and Melanie DeMore.
Q. What was the inspiration behind the event?
For Sarah Bush Dance Project’s 2015-2016 season, Artistic Director, Sarah Bush brought together Bay Area dancers, musicians and poetry to generate art in an intimate exchange with different outdoor landscapes in Oakland. Their season culminates at Laney College’s Odell Johnson Theater where Bush and company will use a collage of dance, video, recorded sound, poetry, and live music to take the audience on an experiential tour of these 5 unique environments.
